Was invited to participate in the Des Moines Historical Society local authors and artists expo.  It was a great afternoon, met lots of interesting people, and had many questions and inquiries about the Ankeny family.  Sold five books!  Woo hoo!

Received recognition for my entry to the Women’s Issues Essay Contest for D.A.R.  Title was “Careers Through the Years” emphasizing that people change the times and the times change people.
